Pulau Langkawi – Malaysia

Welcome to Malaysia!!
Only 1 hour by speed boat from Koh Lipe, Langkawi island is the only place in the country where alcohol is duty free, after that, even beers are out of budget. Beaches are not as perfect for swimming as in Thailand, but sunsets are good compensation.

Koh Lipe

Last drop off from this amazing Thai islands trip of 2 weeks.
The monsoon season is getting closer and closer now.
However, the incredible white sand and the crystal clear water of Koh Lipe keep dazzle eyes, what the sun can not do itself properly.

And what for our last Thai meal...

Spicy green curry, of course!

Koh Tarutao

Koh Tarutao is a National Park pretty wild and uninhabited.

It is sometimes used as a playground for some "Survivor" episodes, the american reality show like the french one "Koh Lanta" (which is by the way an island next to Koh Phi Phi).

More historic, before big brother, convicts lived here.

Koh Phi Phi

So nice snorkelling trip in the Turquoise clear water with a break at Maya beach in Monkey Bay, where the movie “The Beach” has been filmed.

Koh Phi Phi... I wish to stay longer in this blue paradise!

Also, a stop in another good spot for fishes and eyes, Bamboo Island.

Pha Nga Bay - James Bond Island

Nice see-sighting by long tail boat, enjoying the view on massive limestone rocks setting on Pha Nga Bay.

We sails close the mangrove and caves before heading to James Bond Island, place you can see in the movie “The Man with the Golden Gun".

On the way back to Krabi Town, stop to the Suwankhuha temple digged in the rock, gathering a population of buddha statues, bats and monkeys.

Krabi – Thai cooking course

Mmm Thai food…
Thai food is gooooood!
And I am craving for Pad Thai, Papaya salad, Green Curry and Coconut sticky rice with Mango.

I can't do otherwise to keep going enjoying it at home, so I really feel to take a cooking course here in Thailand, discover how to do and what’s on these delicious dishes. I am fascinated! Now let's find oyster sauce, lemon grass, kaffir lime, glass noodles, sweet basil and thai ginger in France… it's not the easier thing!

Koh Phayam – Ranong Province

Small island close Burma, Koh Phayam is how I imagined South Thailand.

Quiet place, few tourists, heaps of palm trees, friendly sun, wild vegetation, long sandy beaches and cosy bungalow view on the sea.

Also perfect for body boarding and enjoying sunsets with Singha, Leo, Chang, Tiger… and Peter, of course.

Thai local taxis are crazy awesome!
