Angus & Julia Stone live

Sold out since end of January, I luckily managed to find a ticket to see the duo who rocks my life from the road trip in Western Australia, on my Great Ocean Road bicycle ride (music help in hills), following me until the streets of Sydney.

I am not surprised that their new album is intituled “Down the way”, how it reminds me all the landscapes I could admire during my Australian bit of travel and life when I listen to them. I invite you to discover the folk music of Angus and Julia Stone right now here and there.

Arriving North shore, follow the coast on a pretty walkway among the gum trees which offering an amazing view on the city. Feel free to take a seat on the friendly benches disposed on the way. Also, some paths invite you to accede to quiet beaches. Be sure to dispose of enough time to speak to the locals, always opened for a chat about their beautiful country or to take you in picture.

Manly Scenic Walkway – North Head

As a part of the Sydney Harbour National Park, North Head of Manly was a military zone, now almost open to walk all around the cliffs, and to appreciate views on the city, Watson Bay, Manly and the Northern Beaches.

It is so fantastic to find so many natural sites close from the CDB.

Bondi Beach

It seems the summer is lasting.

Heat and sun come finally after a mixed season.

Bondi beach, good for surfing or just for the mood; for the sand among the toes.

Work, finally

I’ve got a job ! I work as a casual waitress in the catering and functions services of Sydney University, approximately 2 days per week.
I remember the email I sent before leaving France in May 2009. I had naively written: “My plan is to travel 2 months and to work 10 months”… ah ah ah. It is quite the opposite which ended up happening…
